Prayer Points:
- continued good health, safety and spiritual protection for our family.
• For the renewal of our visas. This can take up to a few months to finalize, and we are never sure of the outcome until we have them in our hand.
•For other churches to partner with us. So that the projects we have started are able to continue and grow.
•For the continuing unity that we have with the 25 pastors we work with.
What we do here
We are here to support the churches that are affiliated with the Apostolic Church Australia.
Our aim is to provide the Sri Lankan churches with programs and resources that allow them to grow and help the community that they are in.
Our library provides the Pastors, Sunday school teachers and Pre-School teachers with much needed resources. We have books, games, toys, CD's and music books which we loan out.
The LIFE program gives interest free loans to Christians in the church. This allows them to earn an income and to support the church.
We are currently teaching English and computing to eight church leaders. We have also run our first 'Train the Trainers' course. This course trains church volunteers to teach English in their communities and assists them in getting those classes up and running.
White skin is always a novelty.
Receive our monthly emails, newsletters, speak to your mission co-coordinator or read our blog. Once you know a little about us please pray for Sri Lanka, the churches and us.
If you belong to Grace Christian Church, Summerlakes Christian Church or Abundant Life Christian Church, continue giving to your mission program. Through your giving you are supporting the work that we do.
If you want to be involved personally, please contact us on the details below. Nominate one of three areas we work in and we will give you updates and photos of how your contribution has helped.
For those that like to see and experience a culture, you can be a part of one of our short term mission trips. We have one planned for the beginning of July for those who have experience working with young children.
Sri Lanka is a great place to visit at any time of year and there are opportunities to serve and see what has been achieved through your contributions.
We have had people come for stays of two days up to four weeks and have provided short-term missions experiences for teams of two people up to nineteen.
Contact us and you can see first-hand what this work is achieving.
