Summerlakes Christian Church is a member of the Apostolic Church of Australia. The Apostolic Church is a Pentecostal movement; it began in 1916 from ministry which had flowed on from the Welsh Revival in 1904-1905. There are now Apostolic Churches in 40 countries. The Apostolic Church Australia began in 1930, now with 120 churches around Australia - www.apostolic.org.au.
Summerlakes has been in its current location since 1997, previously being located in nearby suburb of Dianella. During 1996 God directed the leadership to the rapidly growing family suburb of Ballajura.
Our modern facility is a 300 seat auditorium with dedicated Youth and Children's rooms and offices
We believe that God has appointed us to our current location to offer to our community a clear invitation to enter the Kingdom of God. We believe that everyone needs to be active in their area of influence (home and workplace). Our church has a mandate to train, equip and release people into ministry, which simply means adding value to other human beings wherever we can.
